I am a big fan of the Planet of the Apes franchise. This sketch was inspired by the main character, “Caesar.” I tried to capture the struggles in his demeanor and the challenges that come with leading a group.

3D Concept ~ Crime Scene Reconstruction
July 4th Render ~ Crime scene reconstruction ~ 3D modeling, Texturing and Rendering ~ created with Autodesk 3ds Max using reference photos, rendered with Octane ~ I was imagining an idea of evidence recovered from a river, effects of rust, and water exposure ~ the challenge of recovering finger prints.

Inspiration is all Around Us, look just a little harder ~ Sketch inspired by a Banana ~ Every morning at Breakfast before homeschooling starts and before we work on the Nkoza and Nankya TV Series, I ask my 2 kids what they are grateful for ~ today we all agreed that we are grateful for all the inspiration that is around us ~ while we were chatting, I noticed my daughter picking up a banana to eat, I quickly grabbed my camera, and took a shot of the end where she had just broken off a banana ~ I picked up my sketch pad and quickly sketched this character to show them how something as simple as a banana, can spark an idea of an old character.. in my head I was seeing an old and aging Wakayima… lol!!!
