Here is a video of a Concept character I drew during one of my animation breaks. I used Sketchbook Pro for the drawing. This is the technique I use to create my comic book characters. Enjoy 🙂
Below is the completed Character with some editing in Photoshop.
A concept of an automated hazmat team, for the Ebola response ~ I was reflecting upon the fear that has gripped my fellow Africans in West Africa, and the effects on the communities in the US and around the world ~ it seems like there is an underestimation of how contagious Ebola is and how to handle the bodies of the dead relatives.
I am truly praying for a cure for this killer disease.
a quick mech concept I drew during my lunch break, working on the Nkoza and Nankya TV series. Whenever I have some scenes rendering in the background I grab my sketch pad and wacom and get to work: http://www.nkozaandnankya.com/episode-1-nkoza-nankya/
A quick hand study I did while I waited for my 2 little kids who are home schooled, to finish their Piano Lessons with their Tutor. I love listening to them play as I draw. It reminds me so much of when I was just starting out and learning to play guitar. I am extremely grateful for the opportunity and blessing of seeing them flourish, and use their hands to bless others.
Lighting and Rendering exercise ~ I setup up this scene in 3DS Max, and rendered it using Octane. The shaders were also created in 3DS Max. Average render time was about 2 minutes using a GeForce GTX 780 gpu card
