I drew this concept Character with a 2B Pencil, and then scanned it into Photoshop for editing. The subject was simply a character design that was floating around my head, during a break from animation and 3D modeling.

Weekend Sketch ~ a concept character I created over the weekend with pencil and ink. The theme is an African scifi warrior of sorts, en-route to a cosmodrone aboard a rented spaceship from the federation for transporting alien workers.

This is a concept sketch I drew from an idea that was floating in my head about an African Super Hero and Space Traveler  I used Colored pencils for the coloring and 2 Staedtler Pigmented Ink drawing pens.. 0.1 for the finer lines and 0.7mm for the bolder lines.

Early Stages of  Drawing

Here is a new Concept character I drew during my 3D animation break. I needed a break from staring at the screen, so I grabbed my pencils and sketchbook, and drew away.  I will be refining him and coloring him when I get a breather, and hopefully create a 3D model of him.

Detailing. I am using colored pencils for the initial stage.

I tweaked my back and my sweetheart sequestered me to laying down, my 6yr old little angel jumped on the bed and said lets draw. This sketch I drew is a result of that session. She and her brother are absolutely loving Iron man, so naturally she asked for an Iron Man concept 🙂 ~ inspiration comes in many forms, doesn’t it 🙂
