Inspiring Black Comic Book Creators ~ Marcus Williams & Greg Burnham

Inspiring Panel of Black Comic Book creators ~ It was so awesome to meet Marcus Williams (Professional Illustrator, writer, and comic artist. Co-Creator of Tuskegee Heirs.) and his business partner Greg Burnham, at the Awesome Con in DC, back in 2019. Here is a video I recorded of their presentation. It was an inspiring panel. As a black writer and comic book creator, I was very grateful to hear from others that have braved the waters and learn from their personal experiences of trying to break into the comic book industry.

Nkoza and Nankya ~ Enjovu ~ The Elephant Tail Animated Short Film

I am excited to share with you this Short animated film, that I Wrote, Directed and Animated, from the Nkoza and Nankya Universe, entitled “Enjovu, The Elephant Tail.” Maama Nankya shares a bedtime story with Nankya. It’s based on an old folk tale and Luganda nursery rhyme we used to sing as kids growing up in Uganda, with an awesome moral of teaching kids to never ever be ashamed of who they are. We encourage you to build up your little ones and inspire them to celebrate their uniqueness and how God created them. Enjoy it with your little ones so they can learn a cool Luganda word: Elephant called Njovu in Luganda.

Concept Robo Fishing Eagle Drawing

Concept Robot Fishing Eagle Drawing, Daily sketch ~ My love for Robotics and wildlife series: I drew this while taking a mental break from animations and editing work on the second short sci-fi film, NaEEXUS II. I was inspired by the majestic Fishing Eagle. I was imagining what it must feel like from the point of view of the prey, in this case a Fish staring in horror as the fishing eagle descends.. normally fish don’t even know the Eagle is making that fatal dive. If only Fish could scream..

Quest: I am doing this as an exercise to continually put ideas to paper and to use it as an opportunity to practice mechanical and Wildlife anatomy.

These are some early stages as I was fleshing out the idea
